Cap New Moon
Hi, welcome back to the cyclical stars podcast. And today, we are diving into the Capricorn New Moon. And I'm really loving working with the new and full moon energy. I think that they're really important parts of the month to work with. Because honestly, guys, sometimes we don't need to know what every single day means in astrology. And you might get so shocked by that, because you're like, you're an astrologer, you should know what's happening every single day. But the more I dive into my practice, whether that is astrology, spirituality, my connection to Source, I noticed that it's the most simple things that can be the most profound. And if astrology overwhelms you, all I want you to focus on is, how can I work with the energy? And honestly, the best way to do it is tuning into the new moon and the full moon, as well as knowing your own birth chart. Because when we get a little bit more specific about what Mars is doing and what the retrograde is doing, and what Venus retrograde is going to be doing, and what Jupiter is doing and Saturn like, sometimes that can feel a little bit overwhelming. So I really want you just to strip it back and start from the very beginning. And I think that's what one of my biggest purposes here in this lifetime is, or just maybe, for this season, is really just stripping it back into practical, tangible, really earth based, yet practical tips and tricks and how you can work with the astrology, and the reason why I'm doing these full moon and New Moon podcasts and my blogs and things like that. And the post that I make is because I want it to be, yeah, a simple way that you can work with astrology that isn't super overwhelming. So that's what we're doing here. And I guess that can kind of segue into how to even work with astrology for right now, right? And how you if you're starting out on this journey, or you're super interested in astrology, and you're like, there's so much to learn and, like, a lot to grasp, I might just give you a few practical ways on how to work with it. So if you're new to astrology, and you're like, I don't even know left and right, like, where I'm going, I always, always say, start with a birth chart reading. And the reason for that is the birth chart reading is like a blueprint. It's going to tell you like your masculine and feminine like energies. It's going to tell you honestly, like your son. So when you're born your sun sign, for example, if you're born in like, Scorpio seasons. You're going to be a Scorpio, but it's more than that, right? Because it's going to be sitting in a particular area that's going to tell me where you're going to thrive. We're going to talk about your moon, your moon sign. So what sign the moon was in when you were born, what area that was in? So where you're going to feel the most nourished, and your gifts. We talk about your past life, so where you've come from and why you have particular gifts and energies and maybe different karmic patterns. We're going to talk about your north node and where you should be heading and your purpose, and really just talk about, like the whole hierarchy of your needs and your fulfillment and your involvement and everything in between. So the sole purpose reading is literally, I like to say that I work with my sole purpose and my birth chart every single day. There is not a day that goes past and a day that goes by that I'm not tuning into my blueprint, my astrology around where I should be heading if I'm making a decision. I honestly kind of use it as a barometer of, should I be going into this energy. Does this make sense for me, and how I can kind of navigate life, if I'm questioning certain things, or if there's something coming up, I can really use my astrology, and particularly, I really like to focus on my south node. So the south node is going to tell you your patterns and your karma. And it's really good to see. Okay, am I being in a past version of myself? Am I being in my I wouldn't say lower vibration, but am I kind of doing the same story that I've always done that's really good to look at the past life, and really good to look in your birth chart. And there are seasons and times and situations in my life that I look and I see what is playing out, and I'm like, Oh, that is so my past life energy in my birth chart. It's just so obvious. And then a really good discernment for me to use is, is this actually going towards my north node? And the North Node is your destiny point. So if you're like, I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know where to start with astrology. I would honestly say, get a birth chart, reading and focusing on the south node of the moon, the north node of the moon, your sun sign and your moon sign, and literally, like the bread and butter. Then you can start to look at, you know, your rising sign, how you present to the world. Then you can start looking at. Your, you know, Jupiter, where you're going to shine, like all different types of things to see, like a little bit more of a layered birth chart reading. But honestly, I would start with, I like to call it the four points, and it's the south node, the North Node, the sun and the moon. If you can kind of get that gist and get the understanding of your birth chart in that way, you are going to have a really clear directional like the four like the four directions, the four points, the four arrows that your south, your north, your east, your West. You're really going to have a good compass, a really good navigation point on barometer, on where you should be heading, where you should be going. So when things come up, you're like, Is this more me, you know, operating from a past version, or is this me stepping into my north node? Is this me stepping into my sun? Is my moon nourished? Here am I reactive from my moon? You know? So it's such a good way of focusing on where you should be heading. And then furthermore, working with astrology, is looking at transits and looking at what's happening every day. And now, at the start of this podcast, I said you don't actually need to be no don't actually need to know what is going on every day, because it can get overwhelming. So start with the beautiful soul purpose reading to understand, and then slowly add things on. But if you're going to add on what's happening for you every day, it's going to get really overwhelming. So my loves, let's actually just start with what are the new and the full moon up to. So the full moon and the new moon occur within the month. So when we begin the month, we have the new moon. And the word month is actually derived from the word moon. So when you're looking at your birth chart, and you see your magic, and you see where you're heading towards, and it's your barometer, and you understand your sole purpose and your navigation point and where you should be heading, then when we have this snapshot, this sacred moment of the new moon, it's like this breath of fresh air, and it's coming into your birth chart, and it's swirling in there, and it's going to hit a certain point of your birth chart and light up that area. And this is where you can say, Oh, this is when I can set new intentions. I have a breath of fresh air that is highlighting and wakening and activating your birth chart. So that is all transits are. They activate, they shoot, like with, if you could see me right now, I'm like pushing my hands as if I have like magical power in my hands, because it's like shooting this energy into your birth charts, like activating it. It's like putting magic dust on it that just trickles it into life. And it really brings that to life. It breathes it into existence. So this new moon is going to be highlighting and breathing in new energy into a particular area of your chart, and that can then blossom if you focus in and recognize, what is this new moon activating for me? What is this new moon showing me? How can I myself, my own being work with this new moon in order to breathe new energy into my life, because I know my birth chart. I know my sole purpose. I know where this New Moon is activated for me. I know how to work with this energy. I know what it means on a birth chart level. And now that I working with my transit, wow, I see what this means now, in this moment, what I can work with it. So this new moon is going to be occurring on the 31st of December, and I find it interesting that it's happening on the 31st so the day before New Year's Eve. And I think it's a really beautiful moment for us to obviously stop because we're looking at the new moon. And the new moon signifies this brand new slate, this brand new energy. It's that breath of fresh air. Back when we used to look at, you know, ancestral times, we always use the new moon as a way of planting our seeds. We farmed with them, so it's actually really great to stop and plant that seed. And if you've listened to my podcast before, I really encourage you to actually take that time to consider to sit down on your couch or on a sacred space. You can make it beautiful, if you want to. You can add water for water, incense for air, fire, like a candle for fire and earth, or a flower a crystal for earth, of course. And you can really make that a really grounded and beautiful space. But I just want you to start to consider what is one thing, one simple thing that I can work with right now that I want to bring forth in the next 28 days, and because it's the first new moon, kind of coming into January and into 2025
